"Thank you so much for another great St Petersburg experience!  This conference was wonderful, from the gymnasium to the evening events to the sunshine and buffet-table kapusta salat.  The fever has caught on around here--my Grade 10 classes are working their way through the cyrillic alphabet (they redecorated the back board for practice) and my AP World History will have a slide show lesson next week. 
Of course I love the trip myself, but the best part is its effect on students.  My Art History students have taken the lead in explaining baroque, based on their experiences and they recognized Rembrandt's Abraham and Isaac from the Hermitage.  I spoke to one parent this week who said that every conversation with her son is punctuated with "When we were in Russia...".  Thank you for giving these kids--and so many others over the years--this incredible opportunity."
